This weekend, I was super exited to exhibit SplashRobe at the RYA Dingy & Watersports Show 2024 at Farnborough International Conference Centre.
This place is massive! Featuring more than 170 exhibitors from the world of dingy sailing, windsurfing, wingsurfing, paddleboarding and foiling (plus little old me).
The weekend was full of interactive family fun, watersports displays and demos, live coaching sessions, hundreds of boats and the biggest names in marine retail all under one roof.
I had such a fab weekend being able to showcase my robes and talk with so many brilliant people with a shared love of the Ocean.
Starting out as a new brand when there are so many - brilliant - competitors on the market is no mean feat. SplashRobe pride ourselves at not just being 'another' robe brand, as demonstrated in our recent incredible reviews in both Outdoor Swimmer Magazine and 220 Triathlon. On paper, it could be easy to disregard the quality and technical details that set us aside from other robes. That's why we love having the opportunity to get in front of our wonderful potential customers and enable them to feel and see and test run the goods for themselves (and see why they should put their trust, and pennies, in us).
Gutted to be missing next weekend's Go Diving Show in Coventry. If you love your scuba diving and are lucky enough to have got tickets, you are in for a treat.
Special shout out to fellow exhibitors Sam from Worthing Watersports, Carla from The Final Straw Foundation and Adam from Barracuda Bay. The open water community really are a friendly bunch. Looking forward to meeting loads more of you at next month's National Outdoor Expo at Birmingham NEC!
